News Essential services support during circuit breaker period

Halfway through the circuit breaker extension period, Bystronic successfully secured exemption for essential workers allowing us to resume necessary operations while strictly implementing safety measures advised by the government and Ministry of Health.

For our customers in the essential services sector who continue to operate, our service engineers are able to support them on site to perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.  Our sales team is able to visit them.  And our spare parts continue to be delivered where it is needed, when it is needed.

“Our main priority is to be present with our customers to support them. This exemption approved by the government allows us to give our customers especially in the essential services sector, the assurance of minimal or no downtime with our machines performing at its most efficient.

At the height of the circuit breaker period, we re-introduced our online support service that a good number of our customers availed of.   We are working from home so we have always been just one call away.   We are live streaming our machine demos and addressing queries about the technology.  These online activities are still ongoing but the key thing is that our customers now have the option to choose between online or onsite support based on their needs“ – Norbert Seo, Senior Vice President, Market Division Asia and Australia
