MTA Malaysia 2008

Responses to our exhibits were overwhelming.  During the 5 days of the show, our booth attracted many visitors from all the states of Malaysia with many more from Indonesia & Singapore.  We collected over 200 product enquiries from our existing, new and potential customers.  These included in depth product queries as well as calls for quotations.

On the 2^nd day of the show, Malaysia Minister of International Trade & Industry, YB Tan Sri Dato’ Muhiyiddin Yasin visited our booth while touring the Exhibition Hall.  David Sim gave a brief explanation on the cutting abilities of Bystronic Byspeed machine.

Our customer Trend KYM, the proud owner of the Byspeed exhibition machine, visited us at the booth to complete the final discussion of the contract.  They signed the order confirmation and the ‘SOLD’ sign was placed on the machine thereby generating even more interest.

Many more visitors crowded at our booth during the cutting demonstrations conducted by our engineers; Wang Teng Leng & Leong Chee Onn displaying the continuous cutting capability of our machine.  Many had not seen a Laser cutting machine in action and with the Byspeed, it proved an eye opener for them.  Some remarks received were “the scanning and cutting method was like a machine gun”.

From the remarks given, Bystronic had truly left a strong impression on all who visited us.  Many are looking forward to seeing more of these new, high technologies in Malaysia in the years and months to come.
